Earth. Fiber. Air.
Watching my mother knot her way through 1970's macrame books was a form of meditation of mine as a child. This fascination with thoughtful repetition and resulting creation still informs my artistry today. Ceramics has long been my medium of choice, and macrame allows me to bring new dimension to the craft: combining art forms and textures to make work that floats in space. This intersection of the natural world and the work of the human hand creates a new kind of place for plant life to thrive, and brings forth a moment of serenity wherever it lives.
Love & Macrame,
